Four notes

1. 01 Wear a shirt that fits You cannot measure accurately over a loose shirt. Every extra centimetre shows up in the jacket.
2. 02 Bring your shoes Trouser length depends on the heel. Measuring in trainers means trousers that are short with proper shoes.
3. 03 Bring a garment you like If you own a jacket whose cut suits you, bring it. Measuring against a real example beats any description.
4. 04 Allow the time The appointment runs about ninety minutes. Rushing it shows in the finished garment.
